Beef Jerky is made from only 100% U.S.D.A. approved Top Round Beef, not chopped and formed and our Beef Brisket Jerky is made from whole sliced brisket meat.

Turkey Jerky is made from 100% Fresh Solid Turkey Breast.

Game Meat Jerky is all Natural Free Range (never confined) Buffalo/Bison, Elk/Venison, Wild Boar, Kangaroo and Ostrich, raised without Hormones or Antibiotics.

RTE – All of our Jerky Products are Ready-to-Eat

Shelf-Life – Product will last 12 months if non-refriderated, but due to the continual drying nature of the product, for quality concerns, not safety, the product is best used within 12 months of manufacturer. They may be stored and shipped at ambient temperature. No refrigeration required or recommended.

Sell by Date – On all individual bags of jerky is used for Lot Code control for product trace ability.

Our Jerky is produced and distributed by Glenoaks Food, Inc.  Glenoaks Food, Inc. is a USDA certified meat/poultry & game food processor, Establishment #19387/P-18387, regulated by USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). We have been doing business in Sun Valley, California, since October 10,1995. We are regulated and inspected daily by the USDA. We are locally inspected by the Los Angeles Count Health Department under the jurisdiction of the Food and Milk Division, and our registered and controlled by FDA, Food Facility Registration is #13030527846.

 

Glenoaks Food, Inc. maintains the following food processing and safety programs:

 

I. SPSs and GMPSs – Sanitation Performance Standards and Good Manufacturing Processes.

II. SSOPs – Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.

III. PCP- Pest Control Program with continuous prevention and service.

IV. ES&T – Environmental Sampling & Testing, includes random testing of all equipment and direct and indirect food contact surfaces for Listeria. End product sample testing includes Aw, Listeria monocytogenes, Coliform Test, E Coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus Aureus, Pathogenic Standard Plate Count, and Mold Tests for HACCP verification.

V. Allergan Control Program – SOPs specific to Allergan Control for all products and specific processing procedures for the manufacturer of Gluten-Free products.

VI. Recall Plan – Glenoaks Food, Inc. maintains a recall plan which provides specific procedures, defines terms, and assigns roles and responsibilities when food safety issue arises with any of our products. The plan will be activated whenever a potential recall requirement arises.
